The presentation on the possibilities of studying in the Czech Republic

The event has become a real contribution for the implementation of the Mongolian-Czech Intergovernmental Agreement on cooperation in education and science.

The presentation was organized on the initiative of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Ulaanbaatar in cooperation with the Mongolian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Association of Mongolian students on April 12, 2014.

The presentation took place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia and due to the limited capacity of the hall, the event was organized by two rounds and attended by around 150 participants from high schools and universities of Ulaanbaatar and also representatives of the Ministries of Education and Culture, hospitals, companies and the National Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Mongolia were present.

There were presented 13 Czech universities that have shown interest in having students from Mongolia and especially they offer technical courses that match the current needs of the development of the Mongolian economy in which the Czech Republic has comparative advantage in comparison with other Asian countries as well as the "old" member states of EU. Ambassador informed about the benefits of participating in an exchange program Erasmus Mundus+, a program of exchanging students and teachers also from Asian universities. Moreover, briefly summarized the options for obtaining scholarships in the framework of the foreign development cooperation of the Czech Republic, as well as the options for paying the tuition fee and studying in English or attending the language course and after graduation study by a very tempting price in Czech language. The Ambassador stressed the opportunity to plan the new Mongolian sectors or firms, and thus the "order" of specific professions prospectively intent by the companies. The event was accompanied by projecting several animated presentations of the Czech universities. I. Havlová, head of the consular section of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Ulaanbaatar informed about the issue of visa requirements for study. In the ensuing discussion, the participants highly appreciated the event and questions asked by the students and teachers were answered.

The presentation of opportunities to study in the Czech Republic was covered by nationwide TV stations such as UBS, Ekh oron, MNB, MNC, Etv and representative of the newspaper Zuunii medee. Ambassador and Consul provided interviews for those TV stations.

After the official end, everyone had the opportunity to choose from a wide range of promotional materials.
