Thanks to helpfulness of the Mongolian Ministry of Foreign Relations and Trade the new designated Ambassador of the Czech Republic was able to hand in copies of new credentials to the Director of Diplomatic Protocol immediately after her arrival. Therefore she could attend, together with the whole diplomatic corps, introductory reception given by the recently appointed Government of Mongolia on 7 September 2012.

Prime Minister N.Altankhuyag introduced, in very friendly atmosphere, all members of his coalition cabinet and the Ambassadors and Representatives of International organisations then spent more than one hour in a friendly chat.

One serene aspect has characterised today’s Mongolia.that evening: during the ceremony a concert of a British Beatles Revival Band has taking place under the Government Palace’s windows on the Süchbaatar square. Thousands of viewers of young as well as mid generation took part – and the diplomats were therefore routed to come for the reception through the back door, so that the concert did not need to be interrupted by official security procedures…
