Czech Ambassador to Pakistan Ivo Zdarek died in Saturday´s terrorist attack in Islamabad

Minister of Foreign Affairs H.E. Mr. Karel Schwarzenberg expressed his deepest sympathy to the family and friends of our Ambassador. "His passing is an obligation for us: we will not change our course, we'll face the evil and fight it." There will be a condolence book open to missions of other countries at the Czech Mission to the UN.
Czech Ambassador to Pakistan, Ivo Zdarek, died in the ruins of Hotel Marriott in the Pakistani capital of Islamabad that became the target of a terrorist attack on Saturday. Minimally 53 persons died in the attack and hundreds of others were injured.
