Statements by the Czech Republic on disarmement

On 17, 20 and 23 October 2014 during the meetings of the First Committee (Disarmament and International Security Committee) of the 69th Session of the United Nations General Assembly, the delegation of the Czech Republic spoke in its national capacity on three occasions to present some remarks supplementing the joint statements delivered on behalf of the European Union.

The national statement in thematic discussions on Disarmament Machinery was delivered by Mr. Jiri Ellinger, Deputy Permanent Representative of the Czech Republic to the United Nations, while the statements in thematic discussions on Nuclear Weapons and Conventional Weapons, respectively, were made by Mrs. Veronika Stromsikova, Director of the United Nations Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic.
