The Czech Permanent Mission, in cooperation with the UN Book Shop, organized a panel discussion on inter-religious dialog as a part of the effort to provide a forum for discussion on various topics during the Czech EU Presidency. The event took place on April 21 at the United Nations Headquarters and featured the famous Czech theologist and philosopher Prof. Tomáš Halík, whose new book “Patience with God – The Story of Zacchaeus Continuing in Us“ was recently released by Doubleday.
The following panelists kindly accepted the invitation to participate in the discussion - H.E. Mr. Kiyo Akasaka, UN Under-Secretary-General for Communications and Public Information, H.E. Mr. Paul Badji, Permanent Representative of Senegal to the UN, H.E. Archbishop Celestino Migliore, Permanent Observer of the Holy See to the UN and H.E. Mr. Nirupam Sen, Ambassador, India.
