The 6th Conference of States Parties to the International Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) took place in New York on July 16-19, 2013. The participation of several hundreds of representatives of the 133 States Parties, observers and non-governmental organizations, including disabled persons organizations, clearly evidences the importance of this yearly meeting.

Mr. Štefan Čulík, Head of the Social Inclusion Policy Unit of the Czech Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, was one of the panelists during the round table entitled “Disability-Inclusive Development in National, Regional and International Processes”. Using examples of the Czech Government policy and cooperation with non-governmental organizations and disabled persons organizations in his presentation, he indicated how these practices can also be useful on international level.
