On 28th October the Czech Republic celebrated the 95th anniversary of the founding of Czechoslovakia, the forerunner of the current Czech Republic.
The reception held to commemorate this historical milestone of the Czech Republic was honored by the presence of Mr. Ban Ki-moon, the UN Secretary General, of Mr. John W. Ashe, the President of the 68th Session of the UN General Assembly, of many Permanent Representatives to the UN, Consuls General accredited in New York and important guests.
