Everyone ist obliged to present a travel insurance document before obtaining the visa. By means of this document, expenses for medical treatment in the Czech Republic as consequence of an accident or a sudden illness have to covered. Expenses caused by the medical transport of the patient to the country where his stay is permitted, have to be covered within this document as well, whereas this regulation concerns a minimum insurance sum of EUR 30 000,- for the period of stay in the Czech Republic.
