Business exchange between Lithuania and the Czech Republic

The overal turnover of the LT-CZ business in the period January-November 2013 reached 14,751 bln CZK (570,5 bln. EUR), which corresponds with 7,2% year-to-year growth.
In the Jan-Nov 2013 period, the Czech exporters sold merchandise/services for 10,615 bln. CZK (410,5 mln. EUR), compared to the same period of 2012 it represents a growth of 1,9%. From Lithuania to the Czech Republic merchandise and services in total value of 4,135 mld. Kč (160 mln. EUR), reaching a year-to-year increase of 23,4%.
In terms of foreign trade the Lithuanian export represented 0,77% of the overall export to the Czech Republic, import of Czech goods to Lithuania reached 1,53% of the total LT import.
The level of Foreign Direct Investments from the Czech Republic in Lithuania by the end of November 2013 reached 12,84 mln. LT (3,4 mln. EUR). It brings the Czech Republic to 31st place in the FDI rating in Lithuania.
