"All my loved ones" movie screening in Tolerance center

On October 29, 2014 in the framework of traditional evening of the Czech cinematography with the Holocaust topic, the movie by Matěj Mináč "All my loved ones" (1999) was presented in the Tolerance Center of the Vilnius Gaona State Jewish Museum.

The screening also comemorated the fact that Sir Nicholas Winton, also known as the "British Schindler", who saved 669 Czechoslovak Jewish children in 1939 from certain death in Nazi contcentration camps, was honoured on October 28, 2014 by President of the Czech Republic Miloš Zeman the highest Czech state decoration - The White Lion Order. 

The evening was opened by the Director of the Tolerance Center Mrs. Ieva Šadzevičiene and Ambassador of the Czech Republic Mr. Bohumil Mazánek, who revealed in his opening speach that on December 1, 2014 a documentary film „Nickyʹs family“ by M. Mináč will bring more details about the heroic act of Sir Nicholas Winton.
