Czech Republic – Poland Economic Forum
04.04.2013 / 11:23
On April 8, 2013, PTWP Group, the initiator of EEC, in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Prague and the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Poland, organizes the Czech Republic - Poland Economic Forum in Prague, in the Ambassador Hotel - Zlatá Husa. It will be a meeting in the run-up to the 5th European Economic Congress.
The Forum is a part of the EEC Roadshow 2013 initiative – a series of economic conferences organized in the countries of the Visegrád Group. Its main objective is to identify issues of crucial importance for the economic development of states in our region. In the course of the Forum, we will raise the issues concerning the investment attractiveness of the Visegrád Group countries, as well as the energy and climate policy of the EU in the context of the future and competitiveness of the economies of Poland and the Czech Republic.
The Forum aims at an exchange of information and confrontation of opinions concerning scales, barriers and prospects for economic exchange between both countries. The subject of the debate will also be broadly understood infrastructural and transport issues in the context of both countries. Among others, we will raise issues concerning the freight market, as well as the European North-South transport route and its importance for economic development.
There will also be a common afterthought on the possibilities of cooperation within the food sector in Poland and in the Czech Republic. The Czech Republic – Poland Economic Forum will be a substantive introduction to and preparation for debates which are to take place during the Congress in Katowice in May. We believe that such a formula will encourage guests from the Czech Republic to participate in this year’s Congress.
