11th Visegrád Summer School in Krakow

1 – 14 July, the 11th Visegrád Summer School will take place in Krakow. The deadline for all applicants from the countries of Central and Eastern Europe is 31 March.
The programme of the Visegrád Summer School consists of lectures, workshops and debates on social, security, economic, political and cultural topics related to the Visegrád Group, Central and Eastern Europe and European Union. These will be for instance the Arab Spring, the Eastern Partnership, sustainable development and many others. The Summer School will be inaugurated by a lecture dedicated to the legacy of Václav Havel.
The Summer School is open for students from the countries of Central and Eastern Europe. Besides Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia, also students from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bulgaria, Croatia, Georgia, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovenia and Ukraine can apply. Students from other countries may also apply; if their application is successful, they need to pay an additional fee of € 390.
All participants are required to pay a registration fee of € 75, to pay their own health insurance and to arrange their journey to and from Krakow. The organisers cover the costs of the educational materials, special events, accommodation and board.
