Václav Havel Human Rights Prize

In March 2013, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe in cooperation with the Václav Havel Library and the Charta 77 Foundation launched the Václav Havel Human Rights Prize. The Prize will be awarded each year to reward outstanding civil society action in the defence of human rights in Europe and beyond.
Individuals or non-governmental institutions active in the defence of human rights can be nominated. The link below provides all necessary details including the contacts and the nomination form. Nominations must be submitted by June 30.
