Embassy Highlights Czech Companies

Economic Section of the Czech Embassy and CzechInvest, the Investment and Business Development Agency of the Czech Republic, presented details on doing business in the Czech Republic and informed about investment incentives for investors in high tech industries and high value-added services during the EU Open House 2014 on Saturday, May 10, 2014.
Economic Counselor of the Czech Embassy Tomáš Hart was there to engage with visitors interested in pursuing business relations in the Czech Republic. CzechInvest was represented by Jan Fried based out of New York and aerospace specialist from CzechInvest’s Prague Headquarters Jan Chmelik. The team is visiting aerospace companies on the East Coast on an aerospace road show.
At the Open House, CzechInvest and the Czech Embassy highlighted three IT companies, which have taken advantage of CzechInvest’s CzechAccelerator in Boston and the Silicon Valley. Below find out more about the cutting edge IT companies from the Czech Republic as well as a well respected Czech headwear manufacturing company.
CzechTourism, the Czech Tourist Authority of the Czech Republic, represented by Michaela Palkova-Claudino, spoke to over 3,100 visitors during the day at the Czech Embassy about the various tourist destinations and attractions in the Czech Republic, such as spa towns, castles, golf courses, and the beautiful capital city of Prague.
They have presented 3D printers with a great success at the 3D Printshow in London, Paris and at EuroMold and CeBIT. be3D printers have a couple of great features. For example an intuitive touchscreen and an autocalibration function which makes print easier.
Customers are always very surprised how simply to control printing and how accurate are the print objects. They are selling ‘ready to use’ machines suitable for all creative people and companies engaged in rapid prototyping.
Corinth is a leading innovator in interactive educational tools. Thanks to the use of its original 3D technology DreamWalk, Corinth apps and tools for touch devices wow students, while helping teachers explain difficult concepts.
After launching a variety of successful apps including the Corinth Micro series, the ISS app made in collaboration with NASA, breathtaking visual archeology apps and the first Augmented Reality app for Windows 8, Corinth is coming out with a next generation teaching aid – Corinth Classroom – designed with the help and support of teachers and education experts around the world.
