Czech-US civil nuclear cooperation - transfer of salt coolant

Governments of the United States and the Czech Republic have recently completed the transfer of 75 kilograms of fluoride salt from Oak Ridge National Laboratory to Czech Nuclear Research Institute Řež. The material will be used in research and development of new generation high temperature reactors. This project is part of a wider Czech-US cooperation in civil nuclear research that has been established between the two countries.
