Scholarships for Armenian students 2013/2014

Czech Government offers three scholarships for studies at Czech public universities for academic year 2013/2014

Government of the Czech Republic, within the framework of its Scholarship Program, decided to offer to nationals of Armenia three (3) scholarships for studies at Czech public universities, starting at the 2013 – 2014 academic year.

The scholarships are for pre-graduate (Bachelor´s degree, 3 – 4 years), graduate (Master´s degree, 4 – 6 years) and post-graduate (Doctor´s degree, 3 – 4 years) studies, both in Czech (two scholarships) and English (one scholarship, only Master and Doctor degrees) languages.

Following the existing cooperation, the Government of the Czech Republic will consider only  applications for informatics, technical studies, medicine, agriculture, economics (business administration) in Czech, informatics in English. The scholarships in Czech include one year of linguistic training.

Interested applicants must submit their electronic registration after 1 of October and before 9 of November, 2012 (the website address: http://registr.dzs.cz/registr.nsf). After registration, every applicant will receive his/her unique code to communicate directly with the system. Applicants will be offered three linguistic version of the application form. After having submitted the application form, the applicant will receive the confirmation e-mail. The deadline for submitting the application form is 9 of November.

After 9 of November the applicants will be invited by the Embassy to pass the on-line test and personal interview. Applicant can choose from five versions - in Czech, English, Spanish, French or Russian, test will take about 30 minutes. Applicants for the studies in English, if not able to testify their knowledge of English by internationally accepted certificate (TOEFL, IELTS, APIEL etc.) will be asked to pass the English ability test.

The entrance exams will be held electronically and personally (interview) at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Yerevan before 30 of November, 2012. Please note, that applications sent directly to the Czech Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports will be automatically rejected.
