Four Czech students, Anna Vitvarová and Sofie Glozová (both students of pedagogy at the University of Hradec Králové), Kamila Kučerová-graphic designer and master's student of graphic design at the Faculty of Design and Art of the University of Ladislav Sutnar of West Bohemia in Pilsen and Karolína Čaplová - graphic designer and illustrator, a student of the same faculty at the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen, were selected as part of the planned project "Czech Art Month" of the Czech Embassy in Abu Dhabi and the emirate company Art Hub owner and director Ahmed Saleh Al Yafei for a three-week art stay at Art Hub in HATTA in Dubai.

Located in the popular tourist area of ​​HATTA in the emirate of Dubai, in the heart of the Hajar Mountains, close to the border with Oman, Art Hub Hatta is a place inviting unique experiences and inspiration for creative art. The goal of the owner of Art Hub Mr. Ahmed is that the Art Hub, in the form as it was created directly on top of a rocky cliff, serves to inspire young artists and become a meeting place for cultures and joint creation with emirate and foreign artists. Czech Art Month was three weeks of artwork and soaking up the atmosphere of this unforgettable place, as well as trips to the sea and the local mountains. All students who formed a creative team during their stay beautifully described their experiences from a residency in the United Arab Emirates, which could only take place with the support of the Czech Embassy and the Art Hub. They created a number of works of art during their stay (see photo in the appendix) and finally created a pair of canvases with called "Breath in" and "Breath out", which summarize the experience of hot, colorful days and quiet nights in the glow of lights and stars. The works of art were ceremoniously presented at the final opening.

We hope that the Czech Art Month will become a tradition and that it will be possible to organize and financially support this unique project in the years to come.
