On Friday, 24th February, Delegation EU in Abu Dhabi and all Member states embassies to the UAE marked one year since the start of the war against Ukraine. To demonstrate our continued support and solidarity with the Ukrainian people, Delegation EU have prepared a joint EU+MS message which was published on social media channels on Friday at 10:00 am.
The flag of Ukraine was raised alongside the Czech flag on the roof of the Czech embassy in Abu Dhabi on February 24, 2023.
Heads and Deputy Heads of DEU + EU Member states visited the Ukrainian Embassy on February 17, 2023 to raise the flag of Ukraine alongside the EU flag. The video of the event was prepared and it was published also on Friday 24, 2023. Publishing the video on social media accounts or reposting it from social media is recommended. It is also free to use them or retweet it. The tweets aim to raise awareness and show support for Ukraine. Please use the hashtag #StandWithUkraine.
