Goal of this Event is to encourage to learn more languages at all ages and outside school and throughout multilingualism to support belief that linguistic diversity can contribute to better understanding between the nations.

In 27 EU Member states is spoken by 24 languages and we are very proud of that Czech language which is spoken by more than 10 million people is one of them. Czech language is the part of the Czech national heritage. 

This year 2020 is very specific because of COVID19, the European Day of Languages will be celebrated just virtually, via website especially designed for this occasion by the Delegation of EU and Goethe Institut in Abu Dhabi.

Czech Embassy in Abu Dhabi in cooperation with the representative of Czech expats living in SAE put together some materials, which will be used by the organisers of this very usefull Event.
