Restrictive measures to curb spread of COVID-19 in the Czech Republic as of 22 November 2021

Access to Accommodation and Services with Vaccination or Recovery Certificate Only
As of 22 November 2021 accommodation, restaurants, beauty and sports services, and other establishments will be accessible by fully vaccinated persons and persons recovered from Covid-19 only (with few exceptions, see below). The aim of this measure is to reverse the current rapid spread of Covid-19 in the Czech Republic.

As of 22 November only holders of vaccination certificates and certificates of recovery are considered as a low-risk group as regards covid-19 for free access to majority of services, such as hotels or restaurants.

This change will not affect the rules for entering the Czech Republic. It will be still possible to enter the country after submitting negative PCR test (in some cases antigen test) result (as an alternative to vaccination or recovery certificate). However, this negative test result will not be accepted to access services, such as accommodation, restaurants, hairdressers, cosmetics (and other), indoor sporting or organised public events.
