As of 2 August 2021, the Act on the Residence of Foreigners newly stipulates the obligation for foreign nationals entering the territory with the intention of staying more than 90 days in the Czech Republic, to submit travel insurance ONLY as follows:
Travel insurance covering comprehensive health care may be taken out exclusively with Pojišťovna VZP, a.s. The insurance can be purchased online: https://www.pvzp.cz/en/
Travel Medical Insurance covering necessary and urgent care for the first 90 days of his stay in the Czech Republic and for the rest of the time must present Travel Medical Insurance covering comprehensive health care arranged with Pojišťovna VZP, a.s.
