The delegation visited Czech Republic on the invitation of the Ministry of Defence of the Czech Republic, whose representatives were also first to welcome the Nigerian guests. Besides the excursion of the military headquarters, the members of the NDC visited also the University of Defence in Brno where they were given a lecture on the transformation of the Czech Army and national security policy or Military Academy in Vyškov. Last, but not least, the participants of the trip had occasion to visit an aerial training centre in Pardubice and received a presentation of the aeronautical company, Aero Vodochody. On Thursday 14^th May, they spent the whole day in the House of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic.

On Friday, 15^th May, the delegation was received at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, where the participants were given lectures by the Department of Sub-saharan Africa, Department of the Security Policy and the Department of the Middle East and Northern Africa.
