Cooperation with the Nigerian National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure - opportunities for Czech companies and investors

The Nigerian National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic, in which both parties have committed themselves to developing bilateral cooperation in a whole range of science and research and especially in technology transfer. Subsequent practical application in the business sphere will then create space for the involvement of interested Czech companies and investors and the establishment of business relations with Nigerian partners.
 

NASENI has financial resources available for its projects, which can motivate and support Nigerian private entities and research institutions in the practical implementation of the adoption of production technologies, technology development, know-how in their business and research activities. At the same time, if a foreign partner is found, it can contribute to educational and training stays at these companies.

The Nigerian side currently wants to focus cooperation on technology transfer, technology development and practical training in the following areas:

Agriculture:

- agricultural technology - tillage and soil improvement, landscaping and harvesting

- processing technology - processing of agricultural crops, meat and food

- food preservation and storage

Mining and quarrying

- mining and machine tools technology

- processing

Machining technologies, machines and tools for small businesses (general manufacturing).

 

The Nigerian side has extensive experience with quality modern Czech products and Czech companies and investors will be welcomed in Nigeria with open arms.
