CZ PRES: Handover of the Presidency between France and the Czech Republic

On Monday, June 20, 2022, a joint reception of France and the Czech Republic was held, accompanied by a recital of classical music, during which the imaginary sceptre of the Council of the EU was handed over between Ambassador of France Emmanuella Blatmann and Ambassador of Czech Republic, Zdeněk Krejčí. In their speeches, both ambassadors mentioned the priorities of the FR-CZ-SE presidency trio with an emphasis on ensuring security and economic stability in Europe. During the evening, compositions by French and Czech composers were heard and specialties of French and Czech cuisine were served. The reception was attended by representatives of EU member states, the Nigerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the church and several non-governmental organizations.
