In April 2019, the Czech influencer with Nigerian roots, Yemi AD, visited Nigeria for the first time in his life. Thirty-eight-year-old Yemi arrived to the country to meet the Nigerian part of his family. At the same time, the dancer took advantage of the potential of his trip to get himself involved in many development projects, in some of them with the Czech Embassy as well. For example, in Lagos he organized a workshop for university students to recruit potential scholarship holders for the Prague Dance Conservatory.

Still, in his busy schedule, Yemi AD found time to fly to Abuja and visit our Embassy. During the inspirational meeting, the contours of our further cooperation were outlined. In the meanwhile, as the Czech Ambassador to the SDG Agenda, Yemi made a video message for the One Environment Hybrid 2019 conference supported by the Embassy.

Yemi was far from anonymous when he was about to leave the country. His mission was successful and he got an unprecedented media attention - he appeared in more than 7 national television stations, several radio stations, and interviewed many newspapers. He was also received by a Speaker of the Presidential Villa.
