Czech development aid in Cameroon: training of fish farmers

On June 14-19, 2021, professional training of Cameroonian fish farmers took place in Yaoundé with the financial support of the Czech Republic.

The Czech Republic perceives the need to help in developing countries and thus contribute to improving the living conditions of local people and developing their potential. Thanks to the government's development assistance program, the Czech Embassy in Nigeria, through the institute of the so-called small local project, contributed financially to the implementation of professional training for fish farmers. Thanks to this project, local farmers have expanded their expertise in fish farming and fish farm management and exchanged experiences in this progressive field of Cameroonian agriculture. The development and construction of new fish farms will certainly help to ensure the vocational training of young people and the possibility of their employment, which is still a challenge in sub-Saharan countries.
