Farmers from Niger thrilled by the offer of Czech companies

On 24-27 July 2017, an incoming mission of representatives of the agricultural sector from Niger took place in the Czech Republic as part of a project for the promotion of economic diplomacy (PROPED). The Czech Republic welcomed four entrepreneurs in the field of agriculture and food processing from Niamey with a focus on farming and processing of poultry.

An adequate program based on the requirements and needs of the delegation related to the development and construction of their farms was prepared with a close cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture of the Czech Republic. The Niger delegation experienced presentations and excursions to Czech and Moravian companies engaged in the production of agricultural machinery, agricultural technologies, feed, veterinary medicines, egg production and distribution of primary raw materials in agriculture. The delegation was warmly welcomed by the following companies: Vari, a.s., and Knights, a.s., AG MAIWALD, a.s. , FARMTEC, a.s., B27 International, s.r.o., MIKROP Čebín, a.s., LIEHEN STUDENEC, s.r.o., VK-DRCMAN, s.r.o., Bioveta, a.s.

The Niger delegation was thrilled by the high quality and variety of the presented products offer. It can reasonably be assumed that if the delivering costs of the goods will be competitive with the French or the Dutch, with which the Niger delegation has experience, nothing will stop the trade with the Czech companies.
