During the meeting the President of the Chamber of Commerce presented the business environment of his landlocked country with a small proportion of cultivable land. Niger compensates these disadvantages by the great helpfulness to foreign investors and that's why the local business environment is ranked as one of the best in Africa. The Czech export to Niger has increased in recent years, the Nigerien market is interested in Czech high quality brocates (VEBA), beer, computers, aircraft industry products, steel containers and piping for oil and gaz industry.  But, there is  space for growth in many areas, particularly in the agriculture and foodprocessing.
