The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Abuja actively collaborates and supports Nigerian artists, especially if they also have educational and development activities in their portfolio. The famous painter Chinze Ojobo is a great example of such a connection. Her artworks, which have already became part of the current stream of the contemporary Nigerian visual production, are among others used as gifts for new ambassadors by Nigerian presidents. Mrs. Ojobo is also deeply involved in women's rights and in the support of young Nigerian female artists. Kulture Kode is not only the art gallery, but also the open space for FEAAN workshops and educational activities, as well as for other organizations. The Embassy of the Czech Republic is getting ready, in cooperation with this new cultural center, educational and exhibition projects which will be introduced in near future.
