The Embassy is accredited to represent the Czech Republic´s interests in the areas of foreign policy, trade and economy, development aid in Ghana and also has the responsibility for overseeing relations in five side-accredited countries: Côte d’Ivoire, Liberia, Burkina Faso,  Sierra Leone and Togo. The Embassy deals with  honorary consulates in Abidjan, Ouagadougou and Lome.

The Embassy is an integral part of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs  of the Czech Republic  and therefore shares the same overall objectives and the same visions, mission and values as the rest of the HQ.
