DZS´s Foreign Cooperation Award to Accra

The winner of the Czech National Agency for International Education and Research/DZS Award for 2020 in the category Study in the Czech Republic – The prize for a foreign graduate was Emanuel S. Asamoah PhD from Faculty of Management of the University of Professional Studies in Accra.

Each year, the DZS awards the best projects in Erasmus+, CEEPUS, Euroguidance, eTwinning and Study in the Czech Republic. With the award, the DZS highlights the efforts and commitment of the realisers of international educational projects, who often contribute to the internationalisation of Czech education in their spare time and make foreign experiences available to people who would not otherwise have this opportunity.

One of the winners is a graduate from Ghana who studied at two Czech universities and has now been living and acting as a professor at the University of Accra for several years and is a well-deserved member of society. In previous years, both the ceremony and the award ceremony have always taken place in person. This format of DZS has now had to be reconsidered. The announcement of winners of all categories took place online, on 14. 12. 2020 and the award ceremony was secured by DZS directly at the address of the winners via the Czech Republic Embassy in Accra, the prize presented to the award-winning ambassador.
