CZ to the UN Human Rights Council

The Czech Republic will submit its candidacy to the UN Human Rights Council for the vacancy, following the suspension of Russia's membership rights and its subsequent resignation, for the remainder of Russia's original term of office, i.e. by the end of 2023.
   This does not change the previously announced candidacy of the Czech Republic to the UN Human Rights Council for the term of office 2025-2027 with the elections in the autumn of 2024.
