Czech water treatment plant cleans Ghanaian water

On May 2, 2024, Ambassador of the Czech Republic Pavel Bílek took part in the ceremonial commissioning of the water treatment plant of the Czech company Hutira in the community of Kade. The water treatment plant worth of approx. 400.000 EUR was donated to the comunity by the Czech Government The event took place in the presence of the local Chief of Kade Nana Twum Debrah, the Ashanti Regional Director of Health Facilities and Regulatory Agency (the agency falls under the Ministry of Health) Alhaji Inus Seidu, representatives of the Czech companies SEDA Africa Group and Hutira and the local population. In the presence of Hutira technicians, it was found that the water treatment plant is working without defects and is supplying the locals with high quality clean drinking water. The water purification field is crucial for the Ghanaian population and offers a great opportunity for the development of bilateral cooperation in the future.
