The Czech Republic supported project of a local NGO ECYDO, which aimed to help a special school for visually impaired girls in Bishoftu. Thanks to the project, the girls received tablets with special software for the visually impaired, as well as headphones for listening to audio textbooks and the textbooks themselves, which were recorded thanks to the project. Thanks to this assistance, girls can have access to better education and to integrate more easily in the society.

SEND A COW implemented a project aimed at combating malnutrition and improving and diversifying the nutrition of poor households in the Dawuro zone. The project aimed primarily at housewives and improving children's nutrition. Women learned how to better store and use milk, how to grow and process vegetables and other plants. An important part of the project was training on the role of women and improving their position within the household.

Thanks to a Heritage Watch project, historic buildings in Addis Ababa have been mapped. This created maps with an overview of valuable, albeit lesser-known, buildings, some of which are in danger of being demolished.

Thanks to the support of the Czech Republic, the Taakulo Somali Community organization managed to build a health center near the town of El Afweyn in the Sanaag region of Somalia. The organization has previously built a school in the area and, together with the health center, significantly helps the local population, which will thus gain access to education and health care. Doctors for the center are provided by the local Ministry of Health.
