Crisis Measure: Travelling to the Czech Republic in absolutely necessary cases only

As a result of the critical epidemiological situation a government resolution nr. 1334 comes into force from 18th December 2020, which results in restriction of free movement of people on the entire Czech territory.

Travelling to the Czech Republic is possible in absolutely necessary cases only.

There is no possibility to travel for reasons of tourism or friends and family visit. Restrictions also include closure: of hotels and accommodation facilities (for tourists) and residing on publicly accessible places, night curfew, and so on.

We remind persons coming to the Czech Republic from countries with a low risk of COVID-19 for absolutely necessary reasons that they have the obligation to follow the quarantine measures which consist in filling out the arrival form before coming to the Czech Republic and to undergo a covid-19 test after the arrival to the country (in case of a test from other EU country undergoing a test just before the visit is also possible).
