The main subject of the meeting was the assessment of the mutual relationships in the field of medicine, health and pharmacy. Ambassador Koutsky briefed the Minister of Health about the projects that aim to support economic diplomacy in the field of health care and spa tourism, which are going to be implemented in Jordan by the Embassy during the year 2019. Matters that are related to the humanitarian health aid programme MEDEVAC for 2019 were also discussed during the meeting. The Czech Republic has implemented this programme in Jordan since 2013, were in particular it helps to ease Jordan's burden of refugees waves coming from Syria since the beginning of the conflict. The Minister of Health highly appreciated the Czech help provided to the Kingdom and expressed the conviction that the Czech companies will not only benefit Jordan with the health care field and the supply of the Czech healthcare products but will also use Jordan as a gateway to the in the neighboring markets in the region.
