President of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic invited the President of the Senate of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to visit Prague

The Czech Ambassador H.E. Mr. Josef Koutsky was received by the President of the Jordanian Senate H.E. Mr. Faisal Al Fayez on 12 May 2019. The aim of the meeting was to handover an invitation letter to visit the Czech Republic from H.E. Mr. Jaroslav Kubera, President of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic.
The negotiations emphasised on the importance of parliamentary diplomacy for the development of bilateral relations, as well as the existing untapped potential on both sides, especially in the commercial and economic sphere. More frequent contacts and visits between the Senate delegations of both countries are welcome. Jordan is an important partner in the region and the Czech Republic is interested to expand its contacts with Jordan.
H.E. Mr. Faisal Al Fayez, President of the Jordanian Senate expressed his thanks for the invitation; further details will be agreed via protocol.
