On 3 February 2019 the Ambassador Josef Koutsky received Dr. Suleiman AbdJaradat, Sheikh of the Jaradat’s tribe of Zarqa along with Salim Awda Dawahik, an important representative of the tribes of Aqaba and Ma’an. Sheikh Jaradat has an influential position in the northern part of Kingdom, especially in Zarqa, Irbid and Mafraq. He maintains his friendly relations with the Royal Court, Ministers and leaders of various Jordanian political parties, as well as social and economic institutions. Also, Sheikh Jaradat has regular connections with leading politicians in the Arab world. He expressed his interest in contributing to enhance the cooperation between the Czech Republic and Jordan especially in developing the mutual trade relations, and thus he was delighted to hear about the upcoming visit of the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic to Jordan, and as being a member of the Zarqa Chamber of Commerce, he promised to arrange a meeting for the Minister with the presidents of the regional Chambers of Commerce of Zarqa, Irbid, and Mafraq, in addition to provision of partners contacts of these regions for the accompanying business delegation.
