The Ambassador has visited the House of Representatives and held talks with the First Vice-President, Nassar Al Qaisi

H.E. Mr. Josef Koutsky, the Ambassador of the Czech Republic in Jordan was received by Nassar Al Qaisi, the First Vice-President of the House of Representative of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan on the 4th of February 2019. During the meeting, both sides reviewed the friendly mutual Czech –Jordanian relations which have been progressively developing.

Jordan is considered as one of the countries where the Government of the Czech Republic has been intensively engaged for a long time in solving the international refugee crisis in terms of humanitarian and migration. Nassar Al Qaisi was informed about the economic diplomacy projects that are being prepared by the Embassy of Czech Republic in Jordan for the year 2019, also H.E. the Ambassador informed him about the forthcoming concert, which is going to be held in Amman during spring on the occasion of the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries. The meeting highlighted the importance of parliamentary diplomacy for the further enhancement of the bilateral relations as well as the existing untapped potential on both sides, especially in the commercial-economic sphere. Further contacts and visits by the members of the Parliaments, in addition to closer cooperation between the legislative bodies of both countries are welcomed.
