During the meeting the Minister was informed about the Czech suppliers of power plant equipment to Jordan (three turbines with 120 MW, were delivered in 2012, and a solar power plant, which was delivered in 2016), and about PROPED- project to support economic diplomacy "Solar Energy Workshop", which is going to be realized by the Embassy in September 2019, as this workshop is part of PROPED’s implementation in this given sector since 2017. The Czech Republic has qualified companies which are offering to cooperate in mineral extraction, mining technology, provision of conveyor belts as well as other technologies and equipment. Minister Zawati showed a keen interest in the future cooperation in the area of energy and renewable resources, also confirmed her readiness to negotiate with the Czech Minister of Industry and Trade H.E. Mrs. Marta Novakova, during her upcoming official visit to Jordan to launch the 1^st session of the Czech-Jordanian Joint Commission on Economic Cooperation.
