If the applicant eventually cancels an appointment, it is not possible to set a new one without receiving a new request.

Long-stay visa is issued to applicants who plan to stay in the territory of the Czech Republic for more than 3 months. The visa is issued for maximum one year and can be renewed in the Czech territory. The purpose of the long-stay visa may be health, culture, sports, study, scientific research, family reunion, entrepreneurship and other. This type of visa allows its holder to visit and stay in other countries of the Schengen area for maximum 90 days within any 180-day period.

The Visa Section does not decide on the issue or refusal to issue the visa for a stay over 90 days. The visa for a stay over 90 days is issued by the regional office of the Department for Asylum and Migration Policy of the Ministry of Interior of the Czech Republic based on the application of an alien who wishes to stay in the territory of the Czech Republic for a purpose requiring the stay in the territory of the Czech Republic for a period longer than 3 months. The authority competent to assess the application for issue of a visa for a stay over 90 days is the regional office of the Department for the Asylum and Migration Policy of the Ministry of Interior of the Czech Republic (DAMP) having jurisdiction over the place of residence stated by you.

In accordance with section 31, par. 3, letter a) of Act No. 326/1999 Coll. on the Residence of Foreign Nationals in the Czech Republic, the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Amman informs that all applicants applying for long-term visas/stays must submit  along with their long term visa/stay application the  Non Criminal Record Certificate or a document similar to it issued by the country of which the applicant is a national, as well as the same document issued by the countries where the applicant has been staying continuously for more than 6 months in the last 3 years; or an Affidavit in case that such document cannot be issued.
