As formally a certified translation is required, and at the same time the Czech embassy cannot verify translations between Arabic and Czech, we strongly recommend to all applicants to have the translation stamped by the Apostille/legalization stamp as well, if possible,
  • all documents must be submitted in original or a certified copy!
  • long-term visa applications with the purpose of “business” and “executive manager” are decided by the Ministry of Interior of the Czech Republic within 90 days. During the decision period the applicant may be called in for an interview at the embassy, if requested by the respective Czech authorities,
  • after granting the visa, a medical insurance for an amount of at least 60,000 EUR and covering the territory of the Czech Republic needs to be arranged and presented to the Embassy before affixing the visa in the passport - regarding details about insurance please check this article on our website.

For detailed information on the visa application requirements, the decision-making procedure and other related issues please visit the websites of the Ministry of Interior of the Czech Republic and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic.

Please, beware that in case of long-stay visa applications with the purpose of business, a detailed interview at the Embassy is necessary. The report from the interview will be provided only in the Czech language, therefore we suggest that the applicant makes in advance arrangements for a prompt translation as his/her agreement or disagreement with the content needs to be expressed with his/her signature at the respective report.
