In the framework of Visegrád countries' cooperation, the Ambassadors of V4 countries (Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia) held a joint presentation on March 27, 2018 at the Middle East Technical University in Ankara. Comprehensive information on the history of the Visegrád cooperation, its stages of development, important principles and goals as well as joint cultural, economic and international activities of the V4 Group were presented.  The V4 Ambassadors focused on the current status of V4 and Turkey relations, the most important aspects of V4 cooperation within the European Union and other regions such as Western Balkans, the Middle East and within the Eastern Partnership. The security and political situation in the EU and the Turkish neighborhood were also discussed.

The lecture was followed by a questions and answers session, primarily about the EU-V4 relations, the Visegrad country's position on migration and the actual political issues e.g. energy security, EU-Turkey relations, development in the Middle East and joint activities of V4 group and Turkey. The students participated in a large number exceeding 150 participants, asking questions and showing their interest in the topic.

The event was an excellent opportunity for popularizing the V4 Group and further enhancing the group's reputation and prestige in Turkey.
