On the occasion of the completion of his diplomatic mission in Turkey, the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Turkey Mr. Pavel Kafka paid on August 12, 2020 the Courtesy Call on Honorable Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey H.E. Mr. Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu. Honorable Minister Çavusoğlu thanked Ambassador Kafka for his contribution to the Czech-Turkish bilateral relations. Ambassador Pavel Kafka appreciated the longstanding support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey for strengthening our cooperation in political, economical and cultural fields. Both sides expressed the wish to continue keeping Czech-Turkish ties strong, deep and vivid.

Ambassador Pavel Kafka held also farewell calls on Honorable Deputy Minister for EU Affairs Mr. Faruk Kaymakçi and Director General for Central and Northern Europe Mrs. Gülhan Ulutekin on the same day. During the meetings, both sides discussed the current state of play of Czech-Turkish bilateral relations in political and economical area, incl. planned bilateral visits and dialogues. Among the main discussed topics were also EU-Turkey relations.
