Together with the Bikers Club of the University the Embassy organized a hobby mountainbike race attended by more than 40 racers of all age categories and both genders (the youngest 7 years, the eldest 62 years). The Rector of Hacettepe University Prof. Dr. Mehmet Cahit GÜRAN came to start off the adults race that was won by Hacettepe student racer Barkin Demirkan.
