3rd stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) day at the Mavi Göl dam on Saturday 17 September

The Embassy organised the 3rd stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) day at the Mavi Göl dam on Saturday 17 September. The SUP Day was a contribution to the European Mobility Week at Ankara, consisted of a voluntary clean-up of waste from the shores of the Mavi Göl lake, demonstrantion of SUP basics, test-riding of paddleboards and a hobby race, the 2nd of its kind in Ankara. Over 100 fans of waterports were present and over 30 took part in the 3 categories of the sprint race (results: Children: 1.CZ, 2.CH, 3.CZ; Men: 1.CZ, 2.TR, 3.CH; Ladies: 1,CZ, 2.UK, 3.TR). Medal ceremony and beach party concluded the perfect watersport day.
