The HAEE- Hellenic Association for Energy Economics – has the pleasure to invite you to attend the 2nd HAEE Conference entitled "The landscape in the new era of energy transition: Challenges, investment opportunities and technological innovations" that will be held on 18-20 May 2017, at the Metropolitan Hotel, Athens, Greece.

The Conference aims at providing an international forum for the exchange of ideas, research results, and experiences among experts and professionals engaged in academic, business, government, national and international organizations, working in all areas related to energy, environment and economy.

Opening keynote address:

Ricardo Raineri Bernain, President Elect 2016 International Association for Energy Economics; Professor at Pontifical Catholic University of Chile.

Keynote speakers:

Michael Jefferson, Editor, Energy Policy; Professor at ESCP Europe Business School; Senior Fellow, Department of Economics and International Studies, University of Buckingham.

Soteris Kalogirou, Editor-in-Chief, Renewable Energy Journal; Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Materials Sciences and Engineering of the Cyprus University of Technology, Limassol, Cyprus.

James Smith, Co-editor, The Energy Journal; President-elect of the United States Association for Energy Economics; Cary M. Maguire Chair of Oil and Gas Management, Edwin L. Cox School of Business, Southern Methodist University, Dallas.

Concurrent sessions will be organized based on the accepted abstracts. Submitted abstracts should be no more than two pages in length, comprising i. overview, ii. methodological approach, iii. results, iv. discussion and conclusions.

The deadline for abstract submissions is January 15, 2017.
