Czech and Greek regional and municipal cooperation
One of the activities of the Embassy of the Czech Republic to Greece is to develop the regional and municipal cooperation in order to extend the bilateral relations. The Embassy supports existing and emergent partnerships between Czech and Greek cities.
A good example of an active cooperation of the partner cities was the cooperation of the city districts Prague 5 and Kallithea in Athens in granting assistance to the Greek municipality of Aigio on northern Peloponnesus which suffered large destructive fires in summer 2007.
