MFA Statement Following the Terrorist Attacks in Baghdad

Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic strongly condemns the weekend terrorist attacks in Baghdad that have until now killed over 200 people and seriously injured many others.
The cowardly attacks that were carried out during the holy month of Ramadan and which targeted innocent civilians are yet another reminder of the barbaric nature of the so-called Islamic State that is driven by hatred, ruthlessness and misguided ideology. 
Our deepest condolences go out to the families of the victims, and we wish speedy recovery to all who were wounded.
