At the invitation of the Archive’s director Mr. Mais Bagirov the conference was attended by H. E. Ambassador of the Czech Republic Mr. Vitezslav Pivonka. In the course of his speech Mr. Ambassador reminded certain parallels, which connects modern history of Azerbaijan and the Czech Republic. At the same time he summarized the dynamics of Czech-Azerbaijani relations and characterized their current level, which is largely based on successful economic cooperation.

Participation of Ambassador Pivonka at the Conference has confirmed the high level of cooperation between the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Azerbaijan and the Archive, which safeguards some interesting documents related to the Czech modern history.
